The regiment was initially formed during WWIIin 1942 where it earned its nickname, "Currahees", after the camp's Currahee Mountain. Paratroopers in training ran up Currahee Mountain and back with the shout "three miles up, three miles down!". The Cherokee word, which translates to "Stand Alone", also became the unit's motto. The 506th is a proud and historic unit and we are thrilled to put a modern touch on this design.

The last BC I had in the 2/506th said, "If you can't get out of it, get into it." I am afraid it get into one of these smediums, I get out of it. My chest and shoulders will not fit into this "athletic" cuts. Really think a Large might be pushing it. When referencing body types that could fit the this shirts, think 18 y/o 11B. SRT bodies will not fit. I would hate to see a DD214 gut bust one of these.
My advice is to wait on the size you want when they are sold out. Don't listen to the whiskey.
When I saw you had the 506th PIR, I had to have it. It was the first unit I served in the Army in Korea. Proud to be a Currahee!!
Love all the Wetsu shirts I have! they are comfortable and look badass! Only wish is that you guys would make a remastered ww2 325 boxing falcon, I would but that in a heartbeat!
